The Goal
The goal is to eat on $21 per week per person, so for me this is a total of $21. I only have a window of $10 in which I can go over thus. I must by all means remain under $31 and if possible not go over $21 in one week prior to tax. My stomach is already growling.

Day One
Well today was not too bad and not too good. I decided to be health and eat a single gronala bar breakfast, which do to work I ended up skipping and instead had a .20 cup of homemade coffee. As a result, i was famished by lunch. Lunch is where the temptation started. I had to deny coworkers persistance to go out and eat. Instead I had a tuna salad sandwhich on what which ended up costing about .50. However, since I could not afford a vegetable or fruit with lunch, I ended up hungry two hours later and had to have half a .50 3 musketeers to bring my sugar up. I normally drink water throught the day, so this was not a problem. For dinner I had a pork chop cooked in water, frozen vegies and mack and cheese. Total $2.5 for diner, but enough for leftover tomorrow. So for today I have spent $3.45. I was hungry through part of the day, could not snack and could not have all of the fruits and veggies I would have liked. It would have been nice to be able to snack on some fruit or nuts or something. Also, I normally enjoy cooking enough for one meal or enough for diner and lunch. But on this budget I cannot afford that, I have to cook enough for two lunchs in one day and two dinners in one day.
